Stealth Plate makes three distinct motorized plate systems — each with a different mechanism, look, and use case. Here's a no-nonsense breakdown to help you pick the one that fits your build.
The Three Systems at a Glance
Before we get into the details, here's the quick version. All three systems are remote-controlled, powered by 12V, and designed to conceal your license plate. The difference is how they do it.

Stealth Plate Curtains — The All-Rounder
Curtains are the most popular Stealth Plate model, and for good reason. A motorized black sheet slides over your license plate instantly when you press the remote. It's fast, clean, and works on both front and rear.
The frame mounts in place of your standard plate bracket. Your plate sits inside the frame, and the curtain sheet covers it when activated. From the outside, it looks like a black plate frame — discreet and low-profile.
Best for: Owners who want front and rear coverage with the simplest install. Available in USA (12" × 6"), EU (20.5" × 4.7"), Australia/South America (14.6" × 5.3"), and Saudi Arabia (12.4" × 6") sizes.
Stealth Plate Flippers — The Show Stopper
The Flipper uses a motorized frame that physically flips or swaps your plate. When activated, the plate rotates away from view. It's a more dramatic effect than the Curtain — people notice when a plate flips.
Flippers are available in USA and EU styles and support front and rear mounting with a double kit. Each plate connects to its own port on the control box, so you can activate front and rear independently.

Best for: Owners who want a visible "wow factor" — the flipping mechanism is impressive and gets attention at car meets and shows.
Stealth Plate Vanishers — The Invisible Mod
The Vanisher is in a class of its own. Instead of covering or flipping your plate, it retracts the entire plate horizontally — the plate slides under your bumper and disappears completely. No frame, no cover, nothing visible.
This is a front-only system with universal fitment. The bracket mounts under the bumper, and any plate size can be adapted to fit. It's the cleanest option by far, but it's designed specifically for the front.
Best for: Enthusiasts who want the absolute cleanest front end. Perfect for sports cars, supercars, and show builds where front-end design is non-negotiable.
What About the Veil?
There's a fourth option worth mentioning: the Stealth Plate Veil. Instead of hiding the plate mechanically, the Veil creates a visual distortion — a fogging effect — over the plate surface. The plate stays in place, but becomes unreadable when activated. It's hardwired to the battery and controlled via remote.
The Veil is different enough from the other three that it deserves its own deep dive — check out our full Veil breakdown here.
So Which One Should You Get?
Choose Curtains if: You want the most versatile, proven system. Works front and rear, multiple plate sizes, and the simplest install.
Choose Flippers if: You want the "cool factor." The flip mechanism looks impressive and gives you front + rear coverage with a more dramatic effect.
Choose Vanishers if: Front-end cleanliness is your top priority. Nothing else on the market makes your plate vanish this completely.
